Recently I tried out the new cold brew coffee at McDonald's and completely fell in love! I had to try to find my own version to make at home with my leftover coffee. It was much easier than I anticipated to get the ingredients just to my liking! My "secret" ingredient is coffee creamer which I find adds both flavor and sweetness. I personally love using International Delight's Amaretto flavor, but you could swap out with any other flavor. I also like to use the Oster "personal" size blender that I ordered through Amazon because it lets me blend right in the bottle so I have fewer dishes to wash up. Always a plus! But this works just as well in your regular blender and you can easily double or triple the recipe if you are blending for a group of tired and thirsty souls. Try it out and let me know what you think! A perfect mid-summer drink to cool off with! Cold Brew Frozen Coffee Servings: 1 to 2 Ingredients: 1 cup strong coffee, chilled 1 cup ice cubes 1/4 - 1/2 cup whole milk 3 Tbsp coffee creamer Directions: 1. Add chilled coffee, ice cubes, 1/4 cup milk, and creamer to blender and pulse until the ice is pulverized. 2. Add more milk if needed to achieve desired consistency. 3. Pour into glass(es) and enjoy!
